The Government is committed to driving the development of a smart city, and SMEs are the backbone of Hong Kong's economy. To promote SMEs’ digital transformation in full force, participation of solutions providers offering different categories of digital solutions is indispensable. The Digital Transformation Support Pilot Programme (DTSPP) is accepting the first phase application of the category “Digital Payment Solutions and Shopfront Sales” from the solution providers targeting Food & Beverage industries starting from 12 January 2024. DTSPP has been funded by the Government and administrated by Cyberport, which aims to facilitate the digital transformation and business value creation of SMEs by providing subsidies on a one-to-one matching basis to assist SMEs in applying ready-to-use basic digital solutions. The Programme targets the Food and Beverage (F&B) and Retail industries with funding support up to HK$50,000 for each eligible enterprise. It is anticipated at least 8,000 eligible enterprises can benefit from the Programme.
Applications from solution providers for solution categories including “Digital Payment Solutions and Shopfront Sales”, “Online Promotion” and “Customer Management and Loyalty Solutions” will be accepted by phases.
