Arthur Lam, Co-Founder and CEO of Cyberport start-up Negawatt Utility, has been named one of the “Construction Industry Outstanding Young Persons” for 2023.
This prestigious award, conferred biennially by the Construction Industry Council, recognises the exceptional talents of young practitioners in the construction industry. It honours those who have both achieved professional excellence as well as made significant contributions to the industry and effected a positive impact on their communities.
Arthur clinched the award in the “Technology Transformation, Design, Academic and Others” category, demonstrating his dedication to driving sustainable urban development through innovative PropTech and Smart Living solutions. During the awards ceremony, he was joined by five other outstanding awardees to share their perspectives and experiences on the theme, “Braving to Build Dreams. Venturing to Innovate.”
Arthur stated, “The event’s theme of ‘Youth Leads the Way’ resonates deeply, and I’m inspired by Ms Bernadette Linn’s (Secretary for Development) insights on fostering talent for a golden era in construction. Negawatt will continue to innovate and do whatever it takes to build a brighter future for the coming generations.”
Cyberport is proud of Arthur’s and Negawatt’s achievements and looks forward to their ongoing impact on the industry and the wider community.
